Southeast Asian JEC270D steel price has slightly increased recently

It is understood that the JEC270D steel quotation for Southeast Asian square billets has slightly increased recently. The Indonesian specification for 3SP square billets is priced at approximately 505 US dollars per ton FOB, with a weekly increase of approximately 5 US dollars per ton. The specification for 5SP square billets is priced at approximately 525 US dollars per ton CFR. However, for the specification for JEC270D steel 5SP square billets, the Philippine buyer's inquiry price is approximately 515 US dollars per ton CFR.

The export quotation for square billets from a JEC270D steel factory in northern China is approximately $500 per ton FOB.

It is reported that the exporter is currently trying to increase the quotation, but the buyer's acceptance is not very good. The local market demand in the Philippines is average, and the buyer's procurement is very cautious.
