From January to March 2024, the export of semi-finished S65C steel products with HS code 7207 from Russia to China increased by 221% year-on-year, with an export volume of 424676 tons, compared to 132357 tons in the same period last year. The export data for the first quarter indicates that if the export speed remains unchanged, the annual supply this year may reach 1.7 million tons. In contrast, in 2023, Russia's export of semi-finished steel products to China S65C steel decreased by nearly 60% year-on-year, to 921560 tons.
